Class One: The World of Beer Introduction to the World of Beer Peter Cherpack describes the origins of beer as a local product - and how local beer styles became associated with specific countries of the world. An overview of world brewing with a tutored beer tasting of usual beers from obscure countries. |

Class Two: Beers of Belgium John Reagan will lead the class through the exciting history, culture and styles of the most exotic brewing country in the world. The Belgians brew some of the strongest, most flavorful and diverse beers in the world. Learn about the Trappist heritage and how the Belgians take their brewing very seriously. Tutored tasting of selected Belgian beers.

Class Three: Beers of Germany The class will be lead by Shane Rivers who will explore the vast history of Germanic Brewing. Learn about the "birth of the lager" and the Germanic beer purity law that has been enforced since 1516. Experience the best beers of Germany, and what makes them unique. Tutored tasting of selected German beers. |

Class Four: Beers of the British Isles Ralph Kerr will entertain the class with an overview of the rich brewing heritage of the British Isles. Learn about how and why Pubs became a center of British life, and about the beer styles that helped form American tastes. A tutored tasting of selected beers of the British Isles. | |
| Class Five: Field Trip
We'll take the class to a local beer bistro or brewery to explore the beer styles we studied throughout the class. Location and details to be announced. Peter Cherpack (standing) leads beer dinner at Gullifty's. |
